Atlassian Summit is coming to Las Vegas, Nevada on April 8 – 11, 2019. It's your turn to share your story, best practices, and expert advice.
And for the first time, we're introducing Developer Day at Summit, a special event dedicated to the Atlassian Ecosystem and our community of developers.
We're looking for business leaders, developers, end users, and industry experts, for both Summit and Developer Day, to speak on a range of topics. Take a look at the specific tracks for each event below to learn more.
We encourage individuals of all backgrounds to submit a speaker proposal. If you're selected as a speaker, you will get a free conference pass to the respective event you'll be speaking at. The selection process is competitive, but we've got tips and tricks for submitting a winning proposal.

This track is about how non-tech teams across an organization use Atlassian. Inspire others with new and interesting use cases.
This track is about how development and operation teams are breaking down silos and working more effectively together. Share how your teams have brought visibility and better collaboration into the software development and operation process.
This track is all about how to optimize project planning, collaboration, measurement, and tracking. Share your use cases and tips on creating faster feedback loops, developing meaningful reports, and keeping everyone on the same page.
This track covers all topics from end user support to managing IT services. Share how your IT teams collaborate, operate, and deliver solutions fast in a service-first world.
This track is all about how to run Atlassian at scale in enterprise organizations. Share how you and your team set up Atlassian for high availability, scalability, and performance.
This track is all about managing, upgrading, and supporting the Atlassian stack. Share best practices on how to get started, how to get the most out of the Atlassian stack, and how to roll-out Atlassian to your organization.
This track focuses on the tools and practices that improve productivity in your personal life and work life.
Developer Day at Summit is a special event dedicated to the Atlassian Ecosystem and our community of developers. Showcase your ideas and best practices in one of our two different tracks at Developer Day.
Learn the fundamentals of the Atlassian Platform for Developers and the Marketplace – from what it takes to build Cloud apps and integrations, to bringing your apps to market.
Take your skills and apps to the next level. Developers from Atlassian and the wider ecosystem share their knowledge on advanced topics, ranging from scale, security, performance, and more.
Speaker details will be anonymous during preliminary selection to ensure we have an objective assessment of each submission.
Atlassian is committed to creating a diverse, inclusive event that showcases the contributions of people from all backgrounds in technology.
There are 25+ different people on the selection committee reviewing all submissions. Our reviewers come from a wide variety of demographic backgrounds and possess a broad range of expertise to ensure there are diverse perspectives when selecting the content presented at Atlassian events.
When speakers submit their proposed topic, reviewers won’t be able to see any identifying information about the presenter while the content is being evaluated. This will allow us to assess the true merit of the proposal without allowing someone’s demographic characteristics or speaking experience to bias our decisions. After determining the highest quality submissions from each track, our selection committee will meet to ensure that we have an appropriate balance of speakers. In addition to the diversity and experience level of our speaker line up, we also try to ensure a good mix of Atlassian employees and customers.
The last hurdle to overcome is a structural one. We know that because of implicit bias, people from underrepresented backgrounds may be less likely to have significant prior speaking experience compared to their majority-group counterparts.
We want to ensure that all of our speakers are comfortable and confident when speaking.
When our committee is evaluating your submission, we only have what you provide as a part of your submission to take into consideration, so make it good! To improve your chances at being selected, be sure to cover the following points.

We want everyone who attends Atlassian Summit to feel safe and included. We expect Summit staff, speakers, attendees, and sponsors to be respectful and collaborative, regardless of gender, gender identity or expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, race, religion, or any other personal characteristic. This applies to all areas within the conference venue, talks, workshops, parties, and any online media or spaces associated with Summit.
We're an open company that values an inclusive and supportive environment where everyone can be their full selves without being subject to unacceptable behaviour, including demeaning, harassing, abusive, violent, discriminatory, derogatory or demeaning conduct.
Conference staff is always available to help anyone who believes that this code of conduct has been violated. Conference staff can be identified by their "staff" t-shirts if there are any potential concerns, or participants can report incidents to the contact listed below. We reserve the right to take any action we deem appropriate, including expulsion from the conference, to maintain a positive, inclusive atmosphere at Atlassian Summit. Staff are also happy to help participants contact hotel/venue security or local law enforcement, provide escorts, or otherwise assist anyone for the duration of the conference.
